

Fried rice with chicken (code 22005)
Ingredients:
Product code 22005 Frozen cooked chicken pieces.
Ingredients (4 servings):
- 3 cups cooked rice (ideally cold or leftover from the day before)
- 2 cups diced or sliced cooked chicken
- 2 eggs
- 1 onion (or 2 green onions), chopped
- 1 cup diced vegetables (carrots, peas, corn, etc.)
- 2 to 3 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil (or vegetable oil)
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Optional: chopped garlic, grated ginger, hoisin sauce, or sriracha sauce
Preparation:
- Prepare the eggs: beat the eggs in a bowl. In a large skillet or hot wok with a little oil, cook them into a thin omelet. Remove, cut into pieces, and set aside.
- Sauté the onion (and garlic/ginger if using) in a little oil for 1-2 minutes.
- Add the vegetables and sauté for 3-4 minutes, until tender.
- Add the cooked MB Specialties 22005 chicken, mix well to reheat.
- Add the cooked rice, stir well to separate the grains and coat with oil. Increase the heat if necessary to lightly toast the rice.
- Pour in the soy sauce and sesame oil, mix well. Add the cooked eggs at the end.
- Adjust the seasoning (pepper, hot sauce, etc.) and serve hot.
Tip:
- Cold rice gives a better texture and prevents it from becoming mushy.
